Norsk-Finsk Handelsforening (NFH) Hosted a Successful Speed-Dating Event at the Finnish Embassy in Oslo
On February 4, 2025, Norsk-Finsk Handelsforening (NFH) organized a highly successful speed-dating event in collaboration with the Finnish Embassy in Oslo. The event brought together 24 impressive organizations in the embassy’s beautiful venue, where participants also enjoyed delicious food and coffee.
The afternoon began with a warm welcoming speech by Finnish Ambassador Teemu Tanner, setting the stage for an inspiring and productive networking session. With the goal of strengthening collaboration and creating new business opportunities, attendees were welcomed to an engaging and efficient afternoon filled with insightful conversations and valuable new connections. The event was open to both members and non-members, and participants were encouraged to bring a colleague or friend, which many did.
The structured format consisted of 12 different networking stations, where each participant had 10 minutes at a station to engage in discussions and explore potential collaborations before moving on to the next. This setup ensured that all attendees had the chance to meet a wide range of potential business partners in a short amount of time.
Throughout the afternoon, it became clear that many businesses successfully found potential partners for future projects, and the atmosphere remained highly positive and energetic. The event demonstrated the strength of Nordic cooperation—Finland and Norway have much to gain from working together, and by fostering innovation and new opportunities, we can continue to grow.
